Rain, Rain Go Away

With rain in the forecast for tomorrow, I thought it would be a good time to write about rainy day activities. Just because you can't head to the beach, doesn't mean the day is over! There are still a lot of options of things to enjoy when the weather isn't cooperating for a beach day!

Movies

Head over to Stone Harbor and check out The Harbor Square Theater - South Jersey’s premiere movie going experience featuring a full restaurant and bar. Parking is on the street so you may want to bring an umbrella!

Bowling

If bowling interests you, head over to Island Bowl in Wildwood for a few rounds of bowling, snacks and beer! They have have 11 beers on tap including many locally brewed IPA's such as Mudhen and Cape May Brewery.

Museums

If movies and bowling don't sound appealing, there are several museums in Cape May that you can choose from as well including the Fireman's Museum, the Naval Air Station Museum, and the County of Cape May Museum to name a few.

Other Activities

If nothing seems to interest you yet, check out a complete list of ideas on Seascape's website. Of course, don't forget some of the more traditional ideas of fun if you have little one's -

  1. Playing in the rain

  2. Playing games

  3. Creating a master piece - cake, cupcakes, other sweet and decorating them

  4. Watching a favorite Netflix show

  5. Playing cards

  6. Read a great book

To submit other ideas, please send them to me at 708SouthBeach@gmail.com and we will include them in our list!

Thanks for reading!
