So here is a list of activities going on in Wildwood and Cape May this summer that are FREE!!! No cost to you. Tuesday Night - Movies on the beach - There’s a free family movie every Tuesday night this summer at Byrne Plaza in Downtown Wildwood, 3400 Pacific Avenue! Gather your friends and family and bring your chair or blanket for a family movie under the stars. Movie starts as soon as it gets dark (8:30 p.m.) on June 28, 2022! Parking is always free for Byrne Plaza Events in the Parking lots behind the shops; on the east side of Pacific Avenue, between Oak & Schellenger Avenues, and on the west side of Pacific, between Oak and Wildwood Avenues.
Live Music Thursday Nights - There’s a live band and dance party every Thursday night this summer at Byrne Plaza in Downtown Wildwood located at 3400 Pacific Avenue! Wear your dancing shoes and bring your chair or blanket in case you want to take a break! 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. Kicks off June 30, 2022.
Live Music Thursday and Saturday Nights - FREE live entertainment at the Lou Booth Amphitheatre, 2nd & Ocean Avenues, in North Wildwood every Saturday at 7:30 p.m. starting July 2, 2022.
Wildwood
Monday thru Thursday - Wildwood Boardwalk Parades - Watch live entertainment marching down the boards! Parades kick off at 7:30 pm beginning at 16th Avenue and end at the Wildwoods Convention Center between Burk and Montgomery Avenues.

Tuesday: Varied Brass Bands
Wednesday: Duffy String Band
Thursday: Philadelphia String Bands
Friday Night Boardwalk Fireworks - Kick off the weekend every Friday on the Wildwoods Boardwalk with Friday night fireworks at 10:00 pm starting on June 17th! The fireworks will be launched from the beach on Pine Avenue and visible from anywhere on the Wildwoods Boardwalk! Rain date is Sunday at 10 p.m.
Wildwood Crest
Sunset Celebrations on Monday Night - Sunset Lake near Atlanta and New Jersey avenues. 7:30 pm in July, 7 pm in August. FREE family event with live music, children's activities/entertainment, FREE family photos and some of the best sunsets on the East Coast. Held each Monday July 11 through August 23.
Tuesday and Thursday - Marine Science Program - Starting on Tuesday June 21st in Wildwood Crest, Rambler Road and the beach. Miss Ocean is hosting the Borough of Wildwood Crest’s free marine science program. She’ll be there from 11 am to 1 pm each Tuesdays and Thursdays all summer through August 25th. Come check it out! A great free educational experience for the entire family!
Thursday Night Live Music at Sunset Lake - Live music every Thursday overlooking some of the best sunsets on the East Coast. Sunset Lake Gazebo (Miami and New Jersey). Entertainment TBA. Event starts at 7:30 pm and kicks off July 7.
Saturday Wildwood Music Series - Kicking off on Saturday June 25th at Centennial Park, Fern Road and Ocean Avenue, Wildwood Crest. Every Wednesday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. there will be FREE live music for the entire family featuring various artists. Bring a blanket or beach chair.
Cape May
Tuesday Movies on the beach - Starting July 7th, all movies will begin at dusk. Cancellations due to rain will be announced on Cape May City's Facebook. All movies are rated PG or PG-13 and shown next to Cape May Convention Hall. Bring your Beach Chair & Blanket!
Monday Movies at Ferry Park - Movies on the Green will be shown every Monday from July 11 through August 29 starting at 8pm.
