Experience life on an Early American farm through hands-on activities and exhibits at Historic Cold Spring Village’s ‘Down on the Farm’ Weekend, Historic Cold Spring Village, an open-air living history museum, presents the trades, crafts, architecture, and lifestyles of an Early American, rural South Jersey farming community. The Village is also home to a working 8-acre heritage farm complex.
Special exhibits throughout the Village will include collections of antique and modern farming equipment and tools. Visitors can tour the historic Corson-Gandy Barn, c. 1880, which is home to Levi the Village horse. Guests can visit the Village sheep, pigs, chickens, and calves.

Dion keeps it interesting with games like fitness Monopoly, resistance band Monday and other fun and challenging themes! Fee is $10. Ferry Park presents Movies on the Green every Monday beginning July 11. Grab the family, blankets and beach chairs and pick a spot on the lawn outside the Cape May ferry terminal to enjoy classic films all summer long. Showtime is at 8pm and there will be snacks, soft drinks and beer available for purchase. Outside alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited.

Yin Yoga + Sound Immersion
Enjoy an easy evening of yin yoga and vibrational healing as the day winds down. We begin in longer held stretches to go beyond the muscles and target our connective tissue. This creates greater flexibility as we go deeper into the stretch. Yin yoga is a wonderful compliment to any active form of exercise and can be practiced daily. The stretches will lead into a final relaxation pose. To aid your relaxation and allow you to fully unwind, I offer a guided meditation that extends into a longer rest accompanied by gongs, crystal bowls, Tibetan singing bowls and bells as well as the gentle sounds of the ocean. I will share Reiki with each of you, as well, to enhance your healing.
Studies have proven that spending time with vibrational instruments, even as little as 15 minutes, will expel toxins from our blood and help to realign the body’s balance. The effects of the sound healing last up to 72 hours after the class!
Class is approximately 75 minutes. Bring a beach towel and a blanket or a cover up for the relaxation part at the end. Bring water and anything else that will allow you to relax!

The Borough of Wildwood Crest Police Department will host a fun-filled evening of free activities for the entire family as part of the National Night Out campaign. The event will be held at Centennial Park, located at Fern Road and Ocean Avenue, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Festivities will include DJ entertainment, food, games, prizes, giveaways and more for the entire family. Moon bounces, a face painter and a dunk tank will be included in the fun. Representatives from the Wildwood Crest Police Department, Fire Department, Ambulance Corps, Beach Patrol and Recreation Department, as well as a handful of Cape May County agencies, will all partake in the event. Emergency vehicles from a variety of departments from both Wildwood Crest and Cape May County will line the Centennial Park area. By popular demand, the market will once again run a full ten weeks, every Tuesday beginning June 20 through August 29, 2023, between 3:00pm and 7:30pm, with the exception of Tuesday, July 4th, 2023. The market is located at the West Cape May Municipal Complex at the Backyard Park, 732 Broadway. We look forward to another bountiful season!

The featured movie will begin at dusk next to Cape May Convention Hall at Gurney Street Beach. In the event of inclement weather, the cancellation will be announced on Cape May City’s Facebook page. All are welcome and encouraged to bring your favorite beach chairs and blankets.
